Two erotic photographs of France's First Lady Carla Bruni-Sarkozy are going under the hammer at the auction house Philips de Pury's. The sale of snaps are part of an auction titled "Sex".
A colour photo, in which Bruni is seen bending over a mahogany piano, was taken by star photographer Helmut Newton.
The then 25-year-old model is shown half naked. She wears a dress pulled up to her hips, offering a view of her naked bottom.
The photo is estimated to fetch £5,000.

The other photo was taken by Pamela Hanson in 1987. The black and white composition shows Bruni smoking a cigarette in white bikini bottoms with a white top pulled provocatively up.

Beside Bruni's photos, 220 pieces of erotic art will put up for sale at the auction, which includes a nude photo of Helena Christensen taken in 1992 and one of Naomi Campbell.
